Writing & Publishing Blog Posts

Your Faithmade site comes with a built-in blog. Weekly updates, devotionals, event recaps, staff spotlights — your content, your way. No third-party plugins needed.

Creating a Post

  1. Go to Blog > Add New
  2. Add your title
  3. Write your content using the block editor (paragraph, heading, image, list, and quote blocks are all there)
  4. Upload a featured image (this shows in your blog feed, so make it count)
  5. Assign categories and tags to keep things organized
  6. Hit Publish when you're ready

Not ready to go live? Save it as a Draft and come back to it. You can also schedule posts to publish on a future date — perfect for that "written at midnight, publish at 9am" workflow.

Tips for Your Church Blog

  • Keep posts scannable. Short paragraphs, bold key points, use headings. Your readers are on their phones between meetings.
  • Be consistent. One post a week beats five posts in January and then silence until Easter.
  • Write like you talk. If you wouldn't say it from the stage, don't write it on the blog.

Edit or trash posts anytime from the blog list view.
