YouTube Integration
YouTube is Faithmade's richest integration. Connect your church's YouTube channel to import sermon videos, link livestream events, and keep everything in sync.
What You Can Do
- Sermon Import — Pull YouTube videos directly into your sermon library with title, description, and thumbnail
- Livestream Events — Link a YouTube livestream to any event on your site
- Sync Status — See connection health at a glance
How to Connect
- Go to Integrations in your Faithmade dashboard
- Find YouTube and click Connect
- Sign in with the Google account that manages your church's YouTube channel
- Authorize Faithmade to access your YouTube data
- You'll be redirected back with a "Connected" status
note
Sign in with the Google account that owns or manages the church's YouTube channel. If it's a Brand Account, you may need to select the right channel during sign-in.
Importing Sermons from YouTube
- Go to Sermons > Add New Sermon
- Click Import from YouTube
- Browse recent uploads or search by title
- Select the video — Faithmade pulls in title, description, and thumbnail
- Add series, speaker, date, and other details
- Click Save
tip
You can always edit the imported title and description — YouTube titles tend to be SEO-heavy and may need a cleanup.
Linking a Livestream to an Event
- Create or edit an Event in Faithmade
- Find the Livestream option
- Select YouTube as the source
- Choose the upcoming livestream or paste the stream URL
- Save
Sync Status
- Connected — all good
- Needs Reauthorization — click Reconnect to refresh
- Error — usually a quick disconnect/reconnect fixes it
Disconnecting from YouTube won't remove previously imported sermons from your site.
